This 4 day retreat at the peaceful Sannox Christian Centre is an excellent opportunity to learn more about the lives of the Celtic Saints and their relevance to our lives today. Join us on retreat and explore the treasures which have come down to us through the lives of the Celtic saints, whose faith was shaped on the anvil of an era of major cultural change.
Learn about men and women whose faith had a profound influence on shaping Europe. Discover the wisdom of their spirituality which can inspire and illumine our lives and the world today.
The retreat will be led by Roy Searle, one of the founders of the Northumbria Community. He is a close friend and adviser to Sannox Christian centre, a writer, lecturer, mentor and spiritual director.
He will be joined by Kate Pozzo, a spiritual director, counsellor and an associate of Roy's Northumbrian Collective. Kate will be facilitating some of the programme including an art workshop and a beach glass Celtic cross activity.
Each day's sessions will include worship, prayer, teaching, discussion and opportunity for ministry for those who wish it.
The cost is for attending the retreat. Accommodation, meals and other costs are not included.

Attendees should bring their own packed lunches. Arrangements are being made to offer an evening meal, for which prior booking will be required. Details will be sent out in the week before the retreat.
Outline programme:
Monday 27th: Arrive from 4pm onwards. 6pm - Meal. 8pm - Session followed by evening prayer at 9.00pm
Tuesday 28th: 9.30am - Morning prayer. 10am - 1pm - Sessions & breaks. 2pm - Art Worshop (optional). 6pm - Meal, followed by evening session at 8pm then prayer at 9.00pm.
Wednesday 29th: As for Tuesday with another optional Art Workshop in the afternoon.
Thursday 30th: Morning as before. Retreat ends with lunch at 1pm.
